Hello all! It's the last Friday of the month so time for the Smalls SAL. Thank you, Mary, for continuing to host this fun little SAL. Pop over to Mary's Blog to see what other participants have been stitching in the way of Smalls this month.
Each month I stitch a small project specifically for this SAL which doesn't appear elsewhere on my blog.
For November I succumbed to the Christmas spirit and stitched the third in a set of six Christmas Words Cards by Durene Jones. Two were stitched last year, two are planned for this year, and the final two will be Smalls next year.
Here's this month's card then:
Stitch Count 45 wide by 45 high
Stitched on 16ct white lurex aida
Started - 4th November 2020
Finished - 16th November 2020
Total stitching time - 9 hours 10 minutes
I changed the blues as I wanted something a bit darker than the turquoises charted. I may have gone a bit too dark, but I'm still very happy with it.
In this Smalls SAL I'm also re-showing other qualifying small projects I've stitched during the month. This month's it's just my monarch, Mary I:
So next month, I'll retain the Christmas spirit and stitch another Christmas card.
