Autumnal Abstract - 90 hour update

Hello all!

My stint on Autumnal Abstract continues to go at lightning speed and I'm still loving it!

So, without further ado, here are the usual pictures:

After 80 hours

After 90 hours

I'm continuing to stay with this project and have even put the thought into my mind that there's a possibility it could be completed by the end of the year! However, with Christmas getting in the way I am not setting my hopes too high.

I'm still receiving lovely comments about this piece, so thank you all very much. It's a joy to stitch and I'm thinking that in the future I may stitch it in a different colourways - there are only 24 colours so converting them into, for example, blues, lilacs and purples, would not be difficult.

In the meantime, work continues behind the scenes for something I will share with you at the beginning of December - aren't I a meanie?

So until next time,

All the best and
Happy stitching :)

Such a lovely piece and you are doing so well with your progress.

Great progress! The piece almost has a calming effect to it and I could easily see converting the colors (especially to purples)!

Wonderful progress Rachel. The colors are fantastic. I just went looking for the kit but it sure is expensive.

Beautiful progress! I hope you meet your goal of finishing this by the end of the year. I have the same goal for a piece I'm currently stitching :)

Thank you! Being able to stitch in long stints really helps too. :)

Thanks Linda. Kits are never cheap but I do remember this was about £40 when I bought it way back. Well worth it though!! :)

Thanks Annie. Lots of late nights and blocks of colour are helping me along quickly. :)

Beautiful!!
I have been searching for this kit for a while but cannot find it anywhere!! Can you tell me where did you get it?
Thank you!
Ciao,

Hello Cinzia. I bought this kit when it first came out about ten years ago. It has been discontinued for a long time so your best bet is ebay I suppose. However, once I have finished this project (and because a few people have shown an interest in it) I shall be offering the chart as a giveaway on my blog. So keep your eyes peeled and you may be in with a chance of winning!! :)
