For today I had my fourth attempt at learning the alphabet - this time with the help of winter. I didn't pick up my needle until 10.45pm so didn't get far:
Lizzie Kate
Stitched on 16ct Cloud Winter Sky over-dyed aida by Sewitall.com 2 over 1
Stitch count 112 wide by 159 high
Estimated stitching time 59 hours
Stitching time to date - 1 hour
This fabric is absolutely gorgeous. The company also do Cloud Spring, Summer and Autumn Skies to match which will make their way into my fabric stash very soon!
Tomorrow is the chart I have been secretly willing the children to choose right from day one! It's a gifted chart using gifted fabric and gifted threads. And it's going to be very purple!
See you then,
Rachel x

What a fabulous fabric choice! I don't know how you can bear to put these to one side and start something else every day. One things for sure, you will have a pile of gorgeous stitching to work on this year!
Ha, and here is the next seasonal alphabet, I knew it I knew it, lol. It's gorgeous again, on a gorgeous fabric.
See, I knew those alphabet charts would come in handy :D
Perfect fabric choice as always!
Great chart! The challenge is almost over, and like Justine said soon you'll be free to go back and work on all the wonderful projects you've started.
Fun! I love the alphabet charts. I've done Spring, and have Autumn in my stash to do someday when I'm finished with my HAED. :) This will be beautiful!
Oh I love your fabric. We both got slow starts yesterday.
What purple tease?!?! Ohhh I love purple. I must see it now!!! Hurry post post post.
You made good progress for starting so late! The fabric is lovely :)
The fabric is lovely!
Yay you are doing all the LK Alphabet charts! By the time you finish all of them you should at least know half the alphabet by heart! :)
Another awesome start Rachel. I have stitched two of these and have the other two started.

Great start and I look forward to the next one. How could it be wrong with purple?!
Lovely start and beautiful fabric!! :) I have a query, are these shaded/dyed fabrics colourfast? I always wash my fabric before and after the stitching so I haven't tried any one of these so far.
Lovely fabric and what better way to start than with 'A'?
Another lovely start and another lovely fabric.
