Annual Stitching Plans 2025

Good morning again and Happy New Year 2025!!

So this first-of-January post is usually full of all sorts of ridiculous and overambitious plans... but not this year.

This year I want to focus on three things using teeny tiny steps:

1) Post the two SALs I host on time each month and with actual content.
FFG SAL - 10th of the month
Smalls SAL - last Friday of the month

2) Catch up with blog reading, emails, comments and replies.

3) Stitch regularly, and preferably on WIPs for the Smalls SAL.

And that's it. Nothing ambitious, just the basics.

If things start to improve and I can get more done than this, then I will consider that a massive win.

I so desperately want to get back into stitching but nothing seems to work for long. I am really hoping the New Year will provide the psychological effect for wiping the past clean and only looking forward.

Oh, there is one other thing... I will, over no specific time, frame be contacting all of you who have stuck with me. I know I have been unreliable at posting and rude for not reading emails or replying to comments, but I want that to change.

So all that remains for me to say at the moment is, Happy New Year, and I hope it is filled with happiness, good health, and lots of stitching!

Take care,
Rachel x

Happy New Year Rachel 🎉 I think your plans are just perfect, I'll be joining you for Fully Finished each month and maybe a few Smalls. Have a super 2025 at your own pace, sending love and positivity x x

Thanks for welcoming us with the two SALs. FFG is a great event for me, allways very happy when I have full finished new or old WIP. I'm sure I'll find small works to show at the end of the month too, so see you soon! Bonne année 2025 ! xxx

Great idea to take baby steps and look forward to hearing from you. No stress on this end. <3

I think it's good to go back to basic with your goals and increase the chances of sticking to them. I have missed you dearly over the last months and years and always loved hearing from you!

I would like to post more this year, and definitely stay up to date on reading blogs and writing/responding to comments.
We can do it!

Happy New Year!!! I'm re-starting my blog again this year. My last post was Halloween 2019. I have just been posting on fb and Instagram and I have realised how much I have missed blogging and the deeper connection I had with other bloggers! So hopefully we will be hearing more from each other this year. xo

You can just take it one day, one stitch at a time. Maybe you need a new start, is there something small in your stash you want to stitch? But don't try to make yourself stitch it, relax and it will come eventually. Good luck Lady!
