Yesterday I managed to stitch for a total of 2.5 hours on this little cutie. The duck's very similar to my daughter's "Snuggle Chum" which has been (and... shhhh.... still is) her constant companion since she was 7 months old.
I decided to stitch the snowball first and get the white-on-white out of the way. To my credit, it's also the first time I've EVER stitched on evenweave! This fabric is particularly soft so it took a bit of time for me to get the tension right, but here's the result. Hope you like it.
Christmas Quacker!
See you tomorrow!

You don't do things by halves Rachel, white on white on your first attempt at evenweave! Cute new start. My brother had a similar duck called Yacky Duck. I will have to ask if he still has him!
Great start! Well done :)
I don't blame you for getting that part out of the way. I love evenweave. It looks sparkly too. Very pretty. Great start.
Cute start Rachel. That little duck is adorable. I still have my stuffed duck. Its probably about 60 years old now.

Cute start and the little duck is just adorable :) I love stitching on evenweave, it's definitely my favourite fabric. Xoxox
Great start! Stitching white on white is not my favourite thing to do.... but I love evenweave now that I started using it... no more Aida if I can help it!!
