This weekend's new start is a reminder that Christmas is just around the corner! This is one of Lucie Heaton's four Christmas Cats:
Stitched on 16ct white silver lurex aida
Stitch count 55 wide by 56 high
Stitching time to date - 4 hours 35 minutes
Here is the set. The remaining three will be stitched 'at some point'. I think it's quite obvious which one I've started.
If you think these cats look familiar, they are the same as I stitched a while back, only last time she was having fun in the garden. Remember these?
This project now marks the end of my Summer Of New Starts. Needless to say, the new start craving I was yearning for has been satisfied. I do feel a little guilty I've added to my WIP pile when I was trying so hard not to, but all of the projects are small enough to be finished fairly quickly so it's not too bad. Anyway, two have already been finished so I'm pretty sure the remaining five will be finished by the end of the year.
By the way, I'm aware I have been posting a lot recently, especially towards the end of August, mainly because of these new starts. Things should quieten down now but thanks for sticking with me!
Take care,
Rachel x
Another cute start Rachel. Love the whole set.

I love these little kitty cats, especially the one with the tree! I think that after you finish your 10 hours on a project, you should take one of these starts and finish it before moving to the next project in your rotation. They're all small, so they should go fairly quickly.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute Kitty! That set is going to be cute stitched all together. I don't think I have ever asked you but do you have cats? I see you really love them!
ReplyDeleteI never mind seeing more posts from you :) That's a really cute start, I'm sure you'll get them all finished soon.
ReplyDeleteThese cats are so cute.
ReplyDeleteAnother great new start. Cute set! Aw I will miss you posting more often.
ReplyDeleteLove this one! Very cute set, and yes, although there's more WIPs, they are little ones, you were quite restrained. :)
ReplyDeleteOh no, the C word (and it's not cat), I'm not ready for that holiday yet! But they are all adorable and you're off to a good start. Will you be making them individually, or all together?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Astrid, too early for the C word LOL. But they are very cute. I had the urge for a new start today, maybe because I've finished a few recently.
