Hello again!
Another stint, another update. Mr Scruffy is at about the halfway mark now and I'm well into stitching his ruffled chest feathers.
You saw him like this a few days ago:
It's quite rare for me to stick with a project for more than one or two 10 hour sessions but Mr Scruffy is refusing to be taken off the frames. He's obviously enjoying the attention far too much and seems determined to hog the limelight for the remainder of the month. And, you know what? I might just let him!
Take care,
Rachel x
What a cutie!! I'm glad he is demanding more attention. Sometimes it's just too hard to put a project away.
ReplyDeleteLooking good. Looks like he is shaking water off himself.
ReplyDeleteI like him a lot.
ReplyDeleteAwesome progress Rachel. He looks so realistic.

Good progress Rachel, this is a lovely colourful pattern.
ReplyDeleteI just love when our projects follow their own mind and refuse to be put away! Mr. Scruffy is looking cuter every time he shows up here! Can't wait to see his next progress picture.
ReplyDeleteMr. Scruffy is growing so fast and looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHe is just too cute! I love him!
ReplyDeleteYou are making wonderful progress on your parrot. I can see why you don't want to put him down!
ReplyDeleteMr Scruffy is coming to life :-)
ReplyDeleteWell of course, he'd give you the evil birdy eye if you put him away too quickly! Nice to see the fun yellow appearing in him too. :D
ReplyDeleteHe does look like a bird that would get his way and would screech and holler if he doesn't. Very wise idea to let him have his way on this one. And to his and your credit he does look amazing.
