It's just gone past the last Thursday of the month so is time to check in with the Smalls SAL run by Heather of Stitching Lotus. I'm a little later than usual as I did not want to interrupt the flow of my A-Z postings. But now they're all over the world's my oyster!!
This time I remembered to take a photo of the finished piece before making it up.....
... and after:

I'm so happy that my finishing off is getting easier and neater each month. It makes tackling these smalls so much less stressful!
I also stitched a small piece as a gift for the lady who runs the Dairy Cottage where Justine, Ingrid and I have our stitching retreat breaks. Everything in the cottage is cow related so we thought we would each add a small cow to her collection. Ingrid will kindly be finishing all three into matching pin keeps ready for our next break in just under a fortnight! This is my effort:

Cute cow and small :)
ReplyDeleteAnother cute LK stitch! And I love the fabric you've used in the finish :)
ReplyDeleteMoooooo!! That cow reminds me of a character in one of my childhood puppet shows they televised here :) Meena Moo!!
You're so lucky to be able to run off and stitch like that!
Great FFO and lovely cow. I really like your fabric choice there.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute LK finish! I really like this one and am glad your finishing is getting easier. Perhaps you will inspire me to start finishing some from my ever growing pile!

ReplyDeleteBerry Christmas is adorable! I love the cow and what a great "thank you" for the person who runs the place where you have your retreats. I am sure two weeks can't come fast enough for you guys; a stitching, relaxing and a fun-filled girls weekend.
ReplyDeleteGreat ornie and a lovely cow too! Not often I say that LOL.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your mini-retreat.

I'm sure they will look great at the Dairy... not long to go!
Love your little cow and your Ornament of course - I think it looks great finish. Your A-Z finish was one of my favorite

ReplyDeleteThe ornie you made is so beautifully stitched, you found the perfect backing fabric for it.
ReplyDeleteThat cow makes a nice little gift for the lady who loves cows :) I'm sure she will be thrilled.
Love your finish. And the cow will be a great gift. I can't wait for you to tell us how much your friend loved it. And I would love to see all the pin keeps when they are finished. I have a soft spot for cows myself.
ReplyDeleteLovely smalls finishes!
