Another day, another project and another cutie! This is Blueberry from the Popcorn and Friends range of characters. I think this chart was a magazine freebie - a long time ago! The lurex aida is really stiff to work with but provides a lovely background. I didn't get too much done but it's a good enough start:
Featured in ????
Stitched on 16ct Gold Lurex Cream aida by Zweigart 2 over 1
Stitch count 47 wide by 46 high
Estimated stitching time 10 hours
Stitching time to date - 1 hour 25 minutes
Can I also take this opportunity to introduce a fairly new blogger to you? We all know how difficult it is starting out and gaining followers so I thought I'd mention Stitching Out Of Bounds. She's recently started 14 sweet little CJC pieces and one GORGEOUS larger piece and certainly deserves comments from bloggers other than me! It won't hurt to pop over and take a look.
See you then,
Rachel x
Oh my, such a little sweetie for yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI'll pop down at your friend's blog and see what beauties she is working on.
Awww! That's it, just awwww!
ReplyDeleteAww a sweet cute adorable little bear!!!
ReplyDeleteI popped to the blog you've mentioned but there is sadly no way of becoming a follower, that's a shame. Plenty of lovely stitching going on there!
Love the colors in this cutie. I'll pop over and see the other blog. Thanks for the suggestion. I always enjoy new blogs.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for mentioning my blog. I've already had some visitors. I love these guys. I've never stitched them but I'm always admiring them.
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty! I quite like stiff aid a I think it's easier to work on for a small project. I will pay a visit to your new find tonight - always on the lookout for new and interesting blogs to follow!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!:) I have worked on hard canvas with charts smaller than this. My fingers get hurt while stabbing the fabric. I will hop on to your new blogger friend's site.
ReplyDeleteSome lovely starts. I do like that alphabet one, it looks great fun.
ReplyDeleteNice start and thanks for introducing me to a new blog to follow!
