DUCJC 2016 - Day 10 - Molly Mouse

Good morning!

Thank you again for all of your recent and lovely comments. It is really gratifying knowing that you are cheering me along in this challenge and not casting aspersions that I am mad starting another 31 (though much smaller than last year's) projects. Rest assured I am actually aiming to finish at least 20 of them during the year so it's not as if I'm just a serial starter.....

My children chose another Woodland Folk for day 10 of this crazy challenge. This is Molly Mouse. Have you noticed the way she is holding her tail? I think she's really shy.

Molly Mouse
DMC Woodland Folk
Stitched on 16ct Kelp over-dyed aida by Fabric Flair 2 over 1
Stitch count 58 wide by 50 high
Estimated stitching time 15 hours
Stitching time to date - 2 hours 40 minutes

I'm happy with my progress for the day.

Tomorrow's choice is apt considering our weather this week is due to get more cold and wintry.

See you in the morning!

  2. Aww that mouse is so cute:) You are doing great in the challenge and the fact that you are confident about your stitching counts everything. Nobody is going to judge and suggest to anybody, you know where your capabilities and happiness lie and you have decided to stitch these many. We are there to enjoy your beautiful stitching and cheer you up:)

  3. Another Sweetie!
Don't think you're crazy at all! I noticed that your pieces are on the smaller side this year, so that means lots of finishes later:)

  8. Oh another cutie. Love the way he's holding his tail. If someone judges you then they'll be judging me too haha. I love the new starts but I'm glad that most of them will be easy to finish through the year. You too. I'll be sad in Feb when we are done posting daily haha. Can't wait to see your next start.

  9. Lovely start, and yes, she looks a very shy mousy. I think we're all a little mad to do the challenge, but I'm going with 60 projects, so I'm more at risk of this condition. :)
