DSDUCJFC 2015 - Day 35

Good morning!

I've been itching to stitch this piece since I bought it so was really happy to finally make a start.

Harry Potter - Hogwarts Gryffindor Coat of Arms
From theworldinstitches (etsy)
Stitched on 16ct Cream Aida 2 over 1

I intended to work from the top down but was missing the yellow so stitched the outline instead. It all met up in the right places so I assume I've counted correctly!

Happy stitching

  3. Very nice. It's always a fantastic feeling when the border matches up.

  6. Great start! I finally got DB into HP about a year ago. Now when they're playing on TV he'll put it on to watch even if he's seen it 5 times. ;-)

  7. Ooh I love this! Have you been on the Pottermore website? You can be "Sorted" too! My boys are both Gryffindor (of course), I was Ravenclaw (the clever ones) and my husband was gutted to find himself sorted into Hufflepuff. Especially as he was trying to get into Slytherin! It's so much fun, you must try it if you haven't already.
