My stint on Autumnal Abstract continues to go at lightning speed and I'm still loving it!
So, without further ado, here are the usual pictures:
After 80 hours
After 90 hours
I'm continuing to stay with this project and have even put the thought into my mind that there's a possibility it could be completed by the end of the year! However, with Christmas getting in the way I am not setting my hopes too high.
I'm still receiving lovely comments about this piece, so thank you all very much. It's a joy to stitch and I'm thinking that in the future I may stitch it in a different colourways - there are only 24 colours so converting them into, for example, blues, lilacs and purples, would not be difficult.
In the meantime, work continues behind the scenes for something I will share with you at the beginning of December - aren't I a meanie?
So until next time,
All the best and
Happy stitching :)

Such a lovely piece and you are doing so well with your progress.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Being able to stitch in long stints really helps too. :)
DeleteGreat progress! The piece almost has a calming effect to it and I could easily see converting the colors (especially to purples)!
ReplyDeleteThanks Keebles. It really is calming to stitch. :)
DeleteWonderful progress Rachel. The colors are fantastic. I just went looking for the kit but it sure is expensive.
ReplyDeleteLinda
Thanks Linda. Kits are never cheap but I do remember this was about £40 when I bought it way back. Well worth it though!! :)
DeleteLovely progress :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Emma.
DeleteI'm really loving this one, and enjoying your updates! I'm impressed at how quickly you're working it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Annie. Lots of late nights and blocks of colour are helping me along quickly. :)
DeleteSuch a beautiful project!
ReplyDeleteYour needle is on fire, you're flying through it :D
Thanks Mii! I need to correct you to needles (plural) though! I've just started on my third needle for this project!! :)
DeleteBeautiful progress! I hope you meet your goal of finishing this by the end of the year. I have the same goal for a piece I'm currently stitching :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Lulu. Although my goal is not set in stone I wish you luck for your goal. :)
DeleteBeautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI have been searching for this kit for a while but cannot find it anywhere!! Can you tell me where did you get it?
Thank you!
Ciao,
Cinzia
Hello Cinzia. I bought this kit when it first came out about ten years ago. It has been discontinued for a long time so your best bet is ebay I suppose. However, once I have finished this project (and because a few people have shown an interest in it) I shall be offering the chart as a giveaway on my blog. So keep your eyes peeled and you may be in with a chance of winning!! :)
DeleteI surely will!
ReplyDeleteBye for now,
Cinzia
